Hi :)
Making A Flower
Well to make a flower, start by opening a blank image. Mine is 250x250 pixels. Select your gradient tool

and fill the square. White always goes at the bottom.
After you've done that, with whatever color you chose, go to Filter » Distort » Wave, and make sure the Number of Generators if set to 10, and the Type is set to square. Click OK, and here's what it should look like.

After you've done that, go to Filter » Distort » Polar Coordinates. Make sure that's set to Rectangular to Polar. Then go back up to Filter » Distort » Twirl. Set the degrees to 75. Here's what is should look like.

Now make a new layer, Ctrl + J, then go back do the twirl again. Only this time set the degrees to -150. We want to make it go back in the other direction. After, find your layer screen (F7) and click on Layer 1, or whatever you named it. Set the mode to Mulitply, and there you go! You can link the layers and merge them, it'll still look the same. Here's my final image!

I hope this tutorial helped you. Thanks for reading it!
